About KPA
Kranenburg Power Advisors (KPA) publishes short decision briefs on US power and utilities. Each brief makes one argument, proves it with a few charts, and traces every number to a public source. KPA is independent and self-funded, has no clients, and is written by Liam Kranenburg, a high school student in Massachusetts. Briefs are researched and drafted with AI assistance, and every figure is recomputed in code.
Briefs
- Slot Machine, No. 2, 29 October 2026: Why the turbine shortage is real at the factory but partly paper in the field, and why buyers carry risk from the first deposit.
- Load Bearing, No. 1, 26 October 2026: Why AI data centers broke 14 years of flat US power demand, and who bends when the grid runs short.
